Inspiration Pic of the Day

The inspiration pic for today comes from 100 Layer Cake, which is always an resource of ours for lots of reasons - their fantastic inspiration boards, vendor reviews, and of course, pretty pictures.

As a planner, I see a lot of cakes - some beautiful and show stopping, and some whimsical and trendy.  Honestly, I love them all.  I love when the cake has meaning to the bride and groom, whether they have incorporated their color scheme or sentimental cake topper.  They are all special in their own way.

This cake caught my eye because of it's elegance and simplicity.  I see so many detailed cakes that when a bride and groom opt for something so simple, it makes an impact in my eyes.  I see this cake at a winter wedding, with lots of white and crystals.  What do you think?

Here at EBL, we are starting something new - a daily inspiration picture! These pictures are usually found on any of the various blogs and websites we follow, or from a magazine or article.  These pictures can be anything from fantastic shoes to beautiful flowers - we save them in our STYLE FILE, and hopefully get to bust them out eventually!

Events By Lindsay Real Wedding: Keila and Tanner

This past weekend, Events by Lindsay threw the most fantastic wedding ever for Keila and Tanner.  Keila and I had been working together for almost a year, and although she was crazy busy, she was easily the most creative and talented bride we have worked with. It is amazing working with someone who has such an eye for detail - and her mom was absolutely fantastic.  They were such a joy to work with, and I can't believe their wedding was over.
